Should I Wear Matching Bra and Panty?

I have one of those sister who always buys at least four underwear for every bra she owns in the same color so that she matches.  I don’t know what happened, but I didn’t get the “matching bra and panty” game.  It never crop up to me to match – rather I see what I am wearing on the top and bottom of my outfit and select the undergarments that will work best underneath.

So, Should I Wear Matching Bra and Panty?

Don’t be bothered if you’re not matching.  Talking with many  retailers over the years, the percentage of matching ladies in India is rather low.  Most Indian brands put it at about 6%.  More upscale brands like Jockey put it at about 15%.  Walk into any lingerie  store when they’re having a sale and you always see that special discount on Matching bra and panties sets.

So , should one match or not match? That is the question.  For my Sister, it’s all about feeling good in her undergarments.  Knowing you are wearing a matching bra panties is a nice little private with yourself that you have it all together under your outfit.  If you find yourself needing to undress somewhere such as doctor’s office, you look organize and cool.  The drawback to matching is that many times, that matching panty doesn’t fit well or isn’t in the style you prefer.  One of my cherished bras only gives me the option of a boy shorts, or Hipster – I wear neither.  So, matching bra panties is kind of hard work for shopping and selection.

Here are a few things to consider when deciding whether to wear matching bra and panty:

1. Comfort: Your comfort should always come first. If you feel more comfortable wearing a bra and panty that don’t match, then go for it.

2. Occasion: If you’re dressing up for a special occasion, you may want to consider wearing matching lingerie for a more polished look. On the other hand, if you’re just lounging around at home, it may not matter as much.

3. Outfit: Consider the outfit you’re wearing and how it will look with your lingerie. If you’re wearing a tight-fitting dress, for example, you may want to wear seamless underwear to avoid visible panty lines.

Ultimately, whether or not to wear matching bra and panty is up to you. If it makes you feel good and confident, go for it. If not, that’s okay too. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and happy in whatever you choose to wear.
