Snazzyway Review: Silk Satin Slip
I only wear silk slips and gown during hot and humid Indian weather . They are just the right amount of breezy and breathable, and for work-from-home drama, nothing beats a floaty silk slips . Nevertheless, it can be challenging to find silk satin lingerie that is both affordable and luxurious. For this review, I was excited to try three new silk satin silk loungewear and lingerie from Snazzyway .
Snazzyway offers slips , camisole and gown in silk satin and cotton. I noticed a particularly huge selection of camisoles and loungewear , in many colors and prints. Their costs start around Rs699/- for a camisole and go up to Rs 1899/- for a long slip , which isn't quite luxury level but isn't inexpensive either.
Quality
All three items I received were made of japanese silk satin, a thin satin-weave fabric with a shiny side and a matte side.. The Snazzyway slips and cami and knickers are of a similar weight, while the robe is just a touch heavier.
The front and back of the Snazzyway slips are made up of two sizable bias-cut panels.. French seams, which are even and small and challenging to sew on bias-cut fabric, are used throughout the construction.
Fit
The six bias-cut panels of the Snazzyway Silk satin camisole give it a wonderfully sinuous form, and it fits over my bust pretty well. Due to the stretch of the bias being utilised to cover my chest, which is beyond of the specified measurements, it does come up a little shorter than desired
Care
I believe Snazzyway when they say that their silk satin slip is machine washable. My slip go through a gentle cycle of washing and drying. After drying, the silk can be quickly steam ironed to restore its full drape. Overall, Snazzyway is a good option if you're looking for mid-priced silk satin slip with a reasonably wide size range.
Conclusion
So, is Snazzyway silk slips & gown are reasonably priced? Absolutely, in a way. I would recommend them. Nevertheless, they only go up to a 4X, and it can be difficult to find the things carried in 1X to 3X on the website. In my perspective, Snazzyway does not adequately reflect plus sizes, although they might work well for straight sizes and in-betweeners.
